DVD Licensing and Pricing
Information For Public Use
An Educational/Institutional DVD has a special Site
License that allows for Limited Public Performance within a school or
organization.
Public Performance Rights (PPR) are special rights that
allow for the public performance of Wong Flew Over the CuckooÕs Nest: concert
Film, to an audience outside the privacy of your home. These types of
screenings are typically one time events, festivals,
or semi-theatrical screenings.
A Site License grants the right to use and screen an
Educational/Institutional DVD at the primary place of business for your
College, University, K-12 School, Research Institution, Grassroots
Organization, Library, Non-Profit Organization, or Venue. A Site License is
also granted for Exhibition Rental DVD (see formats below) for approved
screenings larger than (50) fifty individuals. If you plan to use the
Educational/Institutional DVD at another location or as part of a screening to
an audience larger than (50) fifty individuals, special arrangements need to be
made with Flying Wong Productions. (See contact information below.)
Any institution or organization in the world is
eligible to purchase an Educational DVD or Public Performance Rights for Wong
Flew Over the CuckooÕs Nest. Our
pricing structure (see below) is divided into two groups: Colleges/Universities
and Non-Profit Organizations/K-12/Public Libraries. Some restrictions may
apply.
The Site License allows your organization to exhibit the film
to small audiences free of charge within a classroom setting.
1.
Audience. The
Program(s) listed on the Invoice may be exhibited to an audience of no more
than (50) fifty individuals.
2.
Admission. Public
Performance of the Programs must be free of charge.
3.
Advertising/Marketing/Publicity. The Public
Performance can only be promoted to members of the purchasing organization and
cannot be advertised to the public.
4.
Venue. Projector and
screen must be located in the same room of 50 or fewer seats.
If you plan to show the film to a larger audience
or plan to charge admission, special arrangements need to be made with Flying
Wong Productions. See Public
Screenings below.
PUBLIC
SCREENINGS
Screening
the movie to a larger audience: In order
to screen the film to an audience larger than (50) fifty individuals, an
additional screening fee (see pricing structure below) MUST be paid in advance
to Flying Wong Productions.
No Admission Charge. If you are not charging admission
to your screening, a flat fee of up to $500 will need to be paid in full before
your screening. See below for pricing structure.
With Admission Charge. If you
will be charging admission to your screening, an advance guarantee ($300.00)
will need to be paid first. Then, after your screening 50% of the Total Box
Office (TBO), less the advance guarantee will need to be paid to Flying Wong
Productions.
EXAMPLE
Total Box Office (gross) $1,000.00
50% of TBO(gross):
$500.00
Less Advance Guarantee $300.00
Amount due to Flying Wong Productions: $200.00
If 50% TBO is less than or equal to $300.00, then
the amount due to Flying Wong Productions is $300.00 (the advance guarantee)
Restriction.
If your target audience is larger than (500) five hundred individuals,

grassroots and under funded organizations.
